We have a Home (as of Thursday)

Finally, we have a place to call ours again. Well Thursday we will. Furniture from England is arriving then and furniture from Australia that has been in storage for the last 6,5 years is arriving on Monday.
We had to compromise on location but instead we have a brand spanking new townhouse (that's right, noone has lived in it before, just 3 weeks old) with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and a DISHWASHER. All mine! On the downside, it is one of 23 townhouses and a smaller garden then we had hoped but plenty of room for some outdoor entertaining and space for Oliver to play which is the most important thing.
I am one happy woman. We now have our Saturday's back and we don't have to look for a place anymore. Now, next on the list is a car.
What do you think of it?

Home Sweet Home

It's been a week since I was at my parents. The time always goes so quickly while I am there. My Mother and Father have built all their homes. This one was built when I finished school and living away for university. I love the comfy and homely furniture, the fresh home cooked food where everything is made from scratch, the hand picked flowers scattered everywhere, taking the opportunity to relax and taking in all the wonderful memories. It is a shame they have it on the market.

Here is a sneak peak into my parents home. Both myself and my sisters have very similar taste in dressing a home and all have some pieces of furniture the same or similar. Most of our furniture is restored none other then my Mum and Dad.
