On Saturday we went into the city to have our annual Santa Claus photo and see the lovely decorations. Both of the boys were given a helium balloon each which Alastair tied around the wrist. As we were walking along the city streets, Felix lost his, it was blue with some words on it about David Jones. We watched it go above the buildings floating away. I said it went up to heaven to see Aunty Waisey. This was mentioned several time throughout the rest of the day.
Fast forward to almost 24 hours after he lost his balloon and what should appear in our drive way still floating around? A blue balloon with David Jones written on it. Exactly the same. It even had a knot in it where Alastair had tied it around his wrist. We live over 20 km away from the city and there is no David Jones near us. My guess is, Aunty Waisey wanted Felix to have the balloon back.
