This gadget I have been testing out is a real hit with my eldest. He loves using it. I'm not sure why he loves it so much but if it makes him continue to eat healthily then I am not complaining. He is usually a pretty good eater anyway so I can't complain. It does however, create a bit of fun and excitement into the ritual of preparing lunch and dinner instead of using the quiet and boring grater. It has been used daily in our house this week. I have used it for so many things and will share some of my recipes with you next week. I have grated and sliced cucumber, zucchini, carrot, apple, cheese and potato. I am sure {correction, positive you can as I just checked the manual} you could use it to slice and grate beetroot, capsicum, hard boiled eggs, cabbage, nuts, onion, chocolate and probably loads more.
And good news for those with a dishwasher, it is completely safe to get cleaned in it so no more loads of washing up.
If I could change one thing of the machine, I would include a cone to dice as I seem to use that quite a bit.
I am off to make a vegetable slice now while Master F is asleep so I will share the recipe with you next week.
Be sure to keep an eye out for my free give away coming up as this is something I think you all need in your kitchen cupboard especially as there is no cost involved. Think of it as an early Christmas present from me and Soup!
