I am not one for unwrapping a package and then sitting down to read the instructions before I start using something. I want to get into it straight away and use it. So that I did with this Tefal Fresh Express.
It was so easy to understand what it's purpose was and how to get it together {though sometimes the gadgets didn't fit in properly the first time but that could be because I was doing it wrong}. I had an audience with me when I used it for the first time {my son and my friends daughter} who wanted to get involved and it was completely safe to allow them to help me as long as they didn't try to stick their fingers in when it was going. Having said that, I did stick my fingers in {accidently} and there was no blood. At all luckily.
The first time we used it, we grated carrot, sliced cucumber and grated cheese and it was so so quick and easy. It probably only took 10 seconds to do both things. The carrot was grated with restaurant quality and the cucumber was sliced nice and thinly. The cheese did not grate as quickly initially as we were using the fine grater which wasn't suited. As soon as we changed to the coarse grater, it flew through the machine and the children were happy to sit and eat every single piece of salad put on their plate. RESULT.
The worst part. The cleaning! But I am not much of a cleaner. At all.

That looks great.
Does it slice as well? We had one of those v-slicer things and DH threw it away after he sliced his finger. THis looks much safer!
Ohhh looks like fun!
How funny - I've spent the last few days trying to research these as I have it on my Santa list. Can't find many reviews though!!
What else does it slice/grate?
Nice!
lol Melissa WE still have a V slicer and in it's day it was so awesome :O but I HATE it now.
Sounds great Simone!
Yes girls it does slice. I have used carrot, cucumber, cheese at this stage. I am going to trial potato too.
It is quite fun and the more you use it, the easier and better it is.
